Job summary

Jabil is seeking an engineering professional to design, develop, and maintain test procedures and tester hardware/software for electronic circuit board production. The role involves collaborating with manufacturing on failure analysis, debugging, and reducing downtime, while documenting procedures across design to production.

The candidate will analyze test data, prepare technical reports, and ensure compliance with ISO/QS standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering is preferred; or related experience/training; or equivalent combination.

Responsibilities

• Review circuit board designs for testability requirements.
• Support manufacturing with failure analysis, tester debugging, and downtime reduction for test equipment.
• Prepare testing procedures and documentation to cover product design through initial production.
• Generate reports and analyses of test data with recommendations.
• Review test equipment designs, data and RMA issues with customers.
• Design and guide engineering and technical staff in fabrication of testing equipment.
• Coordinate development, procurement, installation and calibration of test instruments.
• Determine test conditions, sequences and phases of operations.
• Direct and control operational, functional, and performance test phases.
• Perform moderately complex engineering test assignments for standard or custom devices.
• Analyze/test data and prepare technical reports for test engineering/management.
• Develop or use software/hardware to conduct tests on machinery/equipment.
• Conduct semi-routine technique development following Jabil ISO/QS standards.
• May train production testing staff on new procedures.
• Adhere to safety rules and company security procedures.
