Qualifications

• Proven experience with automotive testing or related engineering roles
• Strong mechanical knowledge interpreting schematics, blueprints, and drawings
• Familiarity with non-destructive testing techniques including UT, RT, MPI, penetrant testing, and X-ray
• Proficiency with hand tools such as calipers, micrometers, soldering equipment
• Experience in manufacturing environments adhering to ASME codes & standards and safety protocols
• Ability to collect, analyze, and report data using Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of aircraft non-destructive testing methods is a plus
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving mindset

Responsibilities

• Perform test drives on various vehicle models to evaluate handling, performance, and safety features
• Collect and document data during vehicle testing sessions using specialized equipment and software
• Conduct mechanical inspections and interpret technical blueprints to diagnose issues
• Utilize non-destructive testing techniques to assess component integrity
