FR Conversions is seeking an Automotive Test Driver to perform controlled road tests on modified accessibility vehicles, ensuring safety, performance, and drivability before delivery.
You will document mechanical observations, maintain test logs, and coordinate with the Quality Control team to address any issues identified on recent test routes near the facility. A valid driver's license and sharp attention to detail are essential.
The Automotive Test Driver is responsible for conducting controlled road tests on vehicles that have been modified for accessibility, ensuring they meet the highest standards for safety, performance, and drivability. This role plays a critical part in our quality assurance process, identifying and reporting operational issues prior to vehicle delivery. Test drives typically range from 20 to 50 miles and are conducted on a pre-determined route near the facility. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and able to effectively communicate mechanical observations to the Quality Control team.

The Automotive Test Driver position is a full-time, hourly, FLSA non-exempt position. (SOC Code - 53-1042).
This position is designated as a Safety Sensitive position.
A Safety Sensitive position at FR Conversions is subject to post-offer and random drug/alcohol screenings.
