Job description

The Vehicle Finisher position at FR Conversions is part of the Production Team. The primary duties centre around installing the final components necessary for the vehicle before it is ready to go out to the customer. Associates are assigned to the Finishing Station on the production line, but are required to train on multiple assembly stations and will be assigned to stations as needed by the production schedule. Some Production Associates may specialize in certain stations or tasks, but all are required to be flexible and trained on multiple stations. This position reports to a Line Supervisor and then to the Plant Manager.

Primary Responsibilities

• Installing seats, carpets, gaskets, and seat belts.
• Adhering vinyl flooring, padding, and insulation to the inside of the vehicle.
• Utilizing a tablet to program the vehicle’s door module.
• Installing plastic interior panels along the inside of the vehicle.
• Installing AC duct work inside of the vehicle.
• Testing lights, windows, and doors to ensure functionality.
• Utilizing work order processing software.
• Participating in departmental meetings and training.
• Abiding by all OSHA safety requirements, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

Salary & Compensation

The Production Associate position is a full‑time hourly position with approximate pay dependent upon qualifications and experience. All salary and compensation packages at FR Conversions are subject to applicable labor laws, FR Conversions standard company policies, and payroll laws including taxes and withholdings.

Job Categorization

The Production Associate position is a full‑time, hourly, FLSA non‑exempt position. (SOC Code - 51-2092). This position is designated as a Safety Sensitive position. A Safety Sensitive position at FR Conversions is subject to post‑offer and random drug/alcohol screenings. All positions at FR Conversions are subject to at‑cause and post‑incident drug/alcohol screenings.
