Job summary

Suburban Automotive Services in Lake Orion, MI is seeking a CVO Test Driver to perform vehicle evaluations, complete test routes, inspect vehicles, and document findings in a professional testing environment.

This Monday–Friday role runs 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, with weekends off, starting pay $19.00 per hour plus weekly pay and on-demand pay. You’ll gain hands-on experience with vehicle testing and performance evaluations while supporting automotive development.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Able to operate a manual transmission.
• Strong attention to detail and accurate documentation.
• Dependable, safety-focused, and able to work independently.
• Comfortable seated for extended driving periods.
• Able to pass background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Drive assigned vehicle durability routes while following established testing procedures.
• Perform vehicle evaluations under varied driving conditions.
• Complete daily driver reports and document test results.
• Conduct vehicle safety inspections and report concerns.
• Test vehicle systems including engine, transmission, braking, noise, vibration, and performance.
• Assist with vehicle preparation, shuttling, detailing, and other garage tasks.
• Follow all safety policies and mentor other drivers when assigned.
