Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) is seeking an Automotive Technician to diagnose, repair and maintain vehicles in a fast-paced retail environment. You will learn under experienced technicians, perform routine inspections, and assist in repair procedures while delivering high-quality workmanship.

The role offers a guaranteed hourly pay range and a pathway to ASE certifications with company support. Pay range shown reflects regional rates; flat-rate pay rewards efficiency.

Qualifications

• Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks.
• Must have a valid automobile driver’s license at all times and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Basic understanding of general automotive maintenance & tire repair services including: oil changes, inspections, and tire repair.

Responsibilities

• Change oil and perform other scheduled maintenance services.
• Perform inspections of steering, suspension, and brake systems.
• Install batteries and check electrical systems.
• Perform tire maintenance.
• Install parts.
• Road test vehicles.
• Pursue ASE certifications and, within two years, obtain at least one ASE test (A1–A8) with company support.
