Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) is seeking an Automotive Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles within our fast-paced service team. You will learn under experienced technicians and communicate repair procedures to customers, delivering high-quality workmanship while pursuing ASE certifications.

Pay range reflects flat-rate compensation, with pay rates that reward efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks.
• Must have a valid automobile driver's license at all times and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Basic understanding of general automotive maintenance & tire repair services including oil changes, inspections, and tire repair.
• Reading, writing, and math skills.
• 2 years of automotive repair experience, completion of Vocational-Technical School program or demonstrated skills.
• ASE certification or equivalent training may be required or encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Change oil and perform other scheduled maintenance services.
• Inspect steering, suspension, and brake systems.
• Install batteries and check electrical systems.
• Perform tire maintenance.
• Install parts and road test vehicles.
• Work toward obtaining ASE certifications within two years (fees covered).
