Job summary

CJ’s Tire and Auto in Mechanicsburg is seeking a trainee automotive technician to perform tire services, battery installations, oil changes, and maintenance while noting vehicle conditions. The role aims to build knowledge to work independently.

You’ll join a family-owned shop with a long-standing history of taking care of customers. Responsibilities include equipment maintenance, teamwork for exceptional service, and adherence to store policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be 18+ years old with a valid driver’s license.
• Reliable transportation and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Pre-employment screenings required.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stress.

Responsibilities

• Performs tire services, battery installations, oil changes, maintenance services, and multi-point inspections noting conditions that exist on vehicles.
• Performs routine maintenance and calibration of equipment.
• Work with fellow associates as a team to provide exceptional customer service.
• Any additional duties assigned by the store Manager.
• Maintain safety and quality standards during service.
