Job Description

About the Role:

The Technician role is full-time or part-time and based on business needs. Responsibilities include conducting vehicle diagnostics, performing routine repairs and maintenance, and delivering exceptional 5-star service by effectively communicating vehicle issues and solutions, while meeting guest expectations for time and quality.

Salary Range: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour guaranteed, with additional flat rate of $25 - $35.00 per hour depending on experience.

Responsibilities:

• Perform basic vehicle diagnostics to identify required repairs.
• Complete Monro’s Courtesy Inspection on every guest vehicle, documenting and communicating additional services needed; audit courtesy inspections by General Service Technicians.
• Assist in inventory management, including pulling tires and parts, unloading, and stocking.
• Maintain store cleanliness and ensure it is guest-ready.
• Perform services adhering to safety standards, including wheel torque and oil safety procedures.
• Test drive vehicles following company policies and traffic laws.
• Follow company policies, governmental standards, and safety procedures.
• Maintain technical proficiency through training courses.
• Operate and maintain equipment safely, including lifts and welders.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
