Job summary

Gills Point S Tire & Auto in Billings, MT, is seeking an experienced Automotive Technician to join our team. You will perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs across brake, steering, electrical, and engine systems while delivering quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years of age with automotive technical training preferred.
• 2–4 years of professional automotive repair experience.
• ASE A4 (Steering & Suspension) and A5 (Brakes) are preferred, or willingness to earn with company support.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, repair and replace brake components including pads, rotors, calipers, hydraulic systems, and brake lines.
• Diagnose and repair steering and suspension components including shocks, struts, control arms, tie rods, steering racks, and power steering systems.
• Diagnose charging system concerns; test and replace alternators, batteries, voltage regulators and related electrical components; perform basic electrical troubleshooting.
• Replace spark plugs, ignition components, air filters, fuel filters, and cooling system components; perform routine maintenance services.
