Gills Point S Tire is seeking an experienced Advanced Auto Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide variety of vehicles. You will work with a team of skilled professionals to deliver quality workmanship and high customer satisfaction.

The role emphasizes engine performance, brake systems, electrical systems, HVAC, and preventative maintenance, with opportunities for ASE certifications and career growth.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on automotive repair experience.
• Vocational or technical automotive training preferred; ASE certifications encouraged.
• Proficient use of diagnostic equipment and hand/power tools.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair engine concerns.
• Replace worn components including spark plugs, belts, hoses, and gaskets.
• Perform tune-ups and preventative maintenance.
• Inspect and repair cooling system components.
• Diagnose coolant leaks and overheating concerns.
• Inspect and repair steering, suspension, and wheel alignments.
• Evaluate tire wear and recommend corrections.
• Diagnose and repair brake, ABS, and ESC systems.
• Diagnose and repair electrical/electronic systems; use scanners and multimeters.
• Diagnose and repair HVAC and A/C components; handle refrigerants per regulations.
• Complete vehicle inspections; maintain clean, safe workspace; communicate with customers and team.
• Stay current with evolving automotive technology; follow safety policies.
