Job summary

Gills Point S Tire & Auto is seeking an Automotive Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain a range of vehicle systems in a team‑oriented shop. The role focuses on quality workmanship, safety, and customer service while providing ongoing training opportunities.

The Level 1 Mechanic will handle brakes, steering/suspension, charging systems, and routine tune-ups, with a focus on accurate diagnostics and efficient repairs in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of professional automotive repair experience.
• Experience diagnosing and repairing brake systems, steering and suspension, charging systems, and basic engine performance concerns.
• ASE A4 (Steering & Suspension) and A5 (Brakes) are preferred, or willingness to earn certifications with company support.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair a variety of mechanical systems.
• Perform brake, steering, suspension, charging, and engine maintenance repairs.
• Maintain repair documentation and service records.
• Follow safety procedures and shop standards.
• Communicate professionally with customers and collaborate with Service Advisors.
