Job summary

AutoNation is seeking a Non-Certified Technician to inspect and service vehicles on delivery, performing minor repairs to place them in saleable condition. You’ll receive factory training and OEM certification support, with paid training and a clear path to advancement across the nationwide dealer network.

Responsibilities include inspecting for safety and cosmetic defects, starting engines, test driving, operating power equipment, and performing minor mechanical repairs using hand tools.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 6–12 months of prior work experience.
• General mechanical skills and safe tool use.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Sign an acceptance for each vehicle delivered.
• Inspect vehicles for safety and cosmetic defects.
• Start engine and drive to test operations and systems.
• Operate equipment and perform minor mechanical repairs.
