Job summary

Sun Auto Tire & Service in Gilbert, AZ is seeking an Automotive Technician to diagnose and repair vehicles to manufacturer and company standards. The role offers hands-on work, a clear path for advancement, and a collaborative shop environment.

You’ll perform Digital and Multi-Point Inspections, diagnose concerns with scanners, complete routine repairs, and work with service advisors and fellow techs to ensure safe, reliable vehicles. Weekend shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• Hands-on automotive repair experience with pride in quality work.
• Ability to use scan tools and meters and to access repair information.
• ASE certifications or willingness to obtain certifications for assigned work.

Responsibilities

• Perform Digital and Multi-Point Inspections and document findings.
• Diagnose routine to intermediate concerns using diagnostic tools.
• Complete routine maintenance and mechanical repairs (brakes, steering, suspension, etc.).
• Verify repairs through checks, torque, fluids, and road tests.
• Communicate findings and needs with service advisors and technicians.
• Follow safety and environmental procedures and maintain a clean workspace.
• Flex schedule including weekends and uphold Sun Auto policies.
