Position Overview

As an Automotive Technician at Goodyear, you will inspect, diagnose, and repair tires and automotive systems, providing excellent customer service. You will have opportunities to learn about new automotive technologies and mentor junior technicians in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic, maintenance, and repair services, including road tests to ensure vehicle safety and functionality.
• Work on brakes, hydraulic systems, exhaust, fuel systems, electrical, A/C, computer systems, and powertrain management systems.
• Stay updated on automotive industry advancements.
• Deliver exceptional customer service through clear communication and guidance.
• Document all work accurately and report safety issues promptly.
• Support teamwork to ensure timely and quality service.
• Adhere strictly to company policies on vehicle care and safety protocols.
• Perform manual tasks, including lifting tires and wheels, standing, and bending, for extended periods.

Qualifications

Basic

• Minimum 3 years of automotive diagnosis and repair experience.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Preferred

• High School Diploma or GED.
• ASE Certifications.
• Experience with exhaust, fuel systems, electrical, A/C, and computer systems.
