Automotive Technician - Mercedes-Benz Entry Level

Rallye Mercedes, Long Island's premier Mercedes-Benz dealership, has immediate opportunities for Express Technicians, Tire Technicians & Quality Control Technicians. We seek motivated, reliable individuals eager to join a team dedicated to teamwork and delivering top-tier customer service.

Responsibilities

1. Collaborate with Diagnostic Technicians and report to the Service Manager, Shop Foreman, and Dispatcher.
2. Mount, rotate, balance, and change tires.
3. Inspect vehicles to identify necessary repairs or maintenance beyond the repair order and communicate findings to the Service Advisor.
4. Coordinate with the Parts Department to obtain parts and follow warranty procedures.
5. Notify the Service Advisor of any additional work needed or issues preventing timely completion.
6. Document all work accurately and clearly.
7. Road test vehicles as needed or refer to inspection technicians.
8. Perform only authorized work, either customer-approved or warranty-covered.
9. Inform relevant personnel if work cannot be completed within the shift.

Additional Responsibilities

• Tire Technician: Perform wheel alignments, tire changes, rotations, and mounting.
• Quality Control: Inspect all work per Mercedes-Benz standards, test drive vehicles to verify repairs, and communicate discrepancies.

Compensation

Pay Range: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour

• Valid New York State Driver's License

• Ability to read and understand instructions

• Minimum 3 years of Mercedes-Benz experience
• Proficiency in Netstar, Xentry, and WIS
• Knowledge of shop equipment including wheel/tire, alignment, and diagnostic tools
