Job Description

Automotive Mechanic/Technician

Pay: Competitive! Ranging from $16.00 to $35.00 per hour, with additional incentives.

As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining guest vehicles. You will participate in a comprehensive training program from day one, preparing you for advanced roles. Your work will help ensure our guests have safe, reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Perform brakes, suspension, tire installation, scheduled maintenance, and other automotive repairs within your qualifications.
• Obtain guest approval for work based on diagnosis; maintain a clean work environment.
• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and perform necessary repairs and maintenance.
• Test drive vehicles and safely operate shop equipment to pick up inventory as needed.
• Collaborate with team members and provide leadership to General Service Technicians.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of automotive technician experience.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Own a basic set of automotive tools or participate in our tool purchase program.
• Ability to work with hands overhead, stand for long periods, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Guest and team-focused mindset.
• Maintain an Automotive Technician State Inspector’s license, where applicable.

Preferred Qualifications:

• ASE certification in at least one of A1-A8.
• Automotive Technician State Inspector License.
• Technical school certificate or degree in automotive technology.
