We’re looking for an energized Automotive Technician to join our HQ in Long Island City, NY! In this role, you’ll be responsible for diagnosing, servicing, and repairing vehicles that come into our repair facility. As an Automotive Technician at Sally, you’ll collaborate closely with our operations and fleet teams, playing a vital role in keeping our fleet running safely and efficiently.
What you’ll do as an Automotive Technician:
Diagnose, service, and repair all vehicle issues across our Sally fleet efficiently and accurately
Perform quality inspections and identify necessary maintenance needs
Intake driver concerns, conduct vehicle evaluations, and communicate updates to the team in a timely manner
Maintain a collaborative, inclusive, and respectful attitude in a diverse environment
Support and upskill the team by mentoring new automotive technicians and sharing best practices in troubleshooting and repairs
What we look for in an Automotive Technician:
3+ years of hands-on automotive technician experience in diagnostics, service, and repairs
OEM and ASE certifications preferred
Valid driver’s license clean of infractions
Proficiency with modern Dealer Services and diagnostic tools
Basic computer proficiency to log service records and diagnostic reports
Familiarity with Toyota, Ford, and Kia vehicle platforms
Highly motivated, professional, and dependable technicians who take pride in their work
