Job summary

Meineke - 1247 in Lewisville, TX is seeking an Automotive Technician / Mechanic with experience to join our service team. You will diagnose problems, perform repairs, and test drive for quality while delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities include timely diagnostics, repairing vehicles, and maintaining a clean workspace. Candidates should be able to supply their own hand tools, have good diagnostic abilities, and preferably ASE certifications.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced, customer-driven environment.
• Supply your own hand tools.
• Basic vehicle knowledge: alignments, oil changes, flushes, tire services & brake replacement.
• ASE Certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose problems in a timely manner.
• Repair vehicles and test drive for quality control (must have valid driver’s license).
• Keep the work area neat and clean.

Automotive Technician / Mechanic - Experience Required

Automotive Technician / Mechanic Requirements

• Experience in a fast-paced / customer-driven environment
• Good Attitude, Team Player
• Supply your own hand tools
• Complete ongoing training as requiredHas a basic knowledge of general vehicle knowledge (Alignments, Oil changes, Flushes, Tire Services & Brake replacement)
• Suspension repair
• Good knowledge of air conditioning systems
• Good knowledge of cooling systems
• Good knowledge of exhaust systems
• Good Diagnostic abilities
• ASE Certifications are a plus!

Automotive Technician / Mechanic Responsibilities

• Our Automotive Technicians diagnose problems in a timely manner
• Our Automotive Technicians repair vehicles and test drive for quality control (must have valid drivers license)
