Job summary

Meineke - 1247 in Texas seeks an experienced Automotive Technician/Mechanic to diagnose and repair vehicles in a fast-paced shop. You must bring your own hand tools and commit to ongoing training; ASE certifications are a plus. Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced, customer-driven environment.

• Basic vehicle knowledge: alignments, oil changes, tire services, brake replacement.
• Suspension repair knowledge.
• Air conditioning systems knowledge.
• Cooling systems knowledge.
• ASE certifications are a plus.

Automotive Technician / Mechanic - Experience Required

Automotive Technician / Mechanic Requirements

• Experience in a fast-paced / customer-driven environment
• Good Attitude, Team Player
• Supply your own hand tools
• Complete ongoing training as required
• Has a basic knowledge of general vehicle knowledge (Alignments, Oil changes, Flushes, Tire Services & Brake replacement)
• Suspension repair
• Good knowledge of air conditioning systems
• Good knowledge of cooling systems
• Good knowledge of exhaust systems
• Good Diagnostic abilities
• ASE Certifications are a plus!

Automotive Technician / Mechanic Responsibilities

• Our Automotive Technicians diagnose problems in a timely manner
• Our Automotive Technicians repair vehicles and test drive for quality control (must have valid drivers license)
• Our Automotive Technicians keep the work area neat and clean
