Job summary

Meineke in Texas seeks an Automotive Technician/Mechanic with experience in fast-paced customer service to diagnose and repair vehicles. You will test drive for quality, ensure safety, and keep the workspace clean and organized in a busy shop environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced, customer-driven environment.
• Own a set of hand tools.
• Must complete ongoing training.
• Basic knowledge of vehicle systems (alignments, oil changes, etc).
• Suspension, A/C, cooling and exhaust systems knowledge.
• Strong diagnostic abilities.
• ASE certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose problems and repair vehicles in a timely manner.
• Test drive vehicles for quality control.
• Keep the work area neat and clean.

• Has a basic knowledge of general vehicle knowledge (Alignments, Oil changes, Flushes, Tire Services & Brake replacement)
• Suspension repair

• Good knowledge of exhaust systems
• Good Diagnostic abilities
• ASE Certifications are a plus!

Automotive Technician / Mechanic Responsibilities

• Our Automotive Technicians diagnose problems in a timely manner
• Our Automotive Technicians repair vehicles and test drive for quality control (must have valid drivers license)
