Job Description

Automotive Mechanic/Technician

Pay: Competitive, ranging from $16.00 to $35.00 per hour. Additional incentives available.

As an Automotive Technician, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain guest vehicles. You will undergo comprehensive training from day one, preparing you for career growth. Your role is vital in ensuring guest safety and satisfaction by delivering quality service and building strong guest relationships.

Responsibilities

• Perform brakes, suspension, tire installation, scheduled maintenance, and other automotive repairs within your qualification scope.
• Obtain guest approval for repairs after diagnosis and maintain a clean work environment.
• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and perform necessary repairs and maintenance.
• Test drive vehicles and safely operate shop vehicles for inventory pickup.
• Collaborate with team members and provide leadership to General Service Technicians.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• At least 2 years of automotive technician experience.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Own a basic set of tools or participate in the tool purchase program.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and work overhead.
• Guest and team-focused mindset.
• Maintain an Automotive Technician State Inspector’s license if applicable.

Preferred Qualifications

• ASE certification (A1-A8).
• Automotive Technician State Inspector License.
• Technical school certificate or degree in automotive technology.
