Qualifications

Job Description

The Automotive Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining guest vehicles. You will participate in a comprehensive training program from day one, preparing you for your role and future growth. As part of our team, you will perform repairs, ensure safety, and deliver exceptional guest experiences.

The hourly range for this role is $20 per hour guaranteed, up to $42 flat rate, based on experience.

This position may include additional compensation and incentives, depending on experience.

Responsibilities
  • Perform brakes, suspension, tire installation, scheduled maintenance, and other automotive repairs within your qualifications
  • Obtain guest approval for work after diagnosis; maintain a clean work area
  • Complete thorough vehicle inspections and perform necessary repairs
  • Test drive vehicles and use shop resources safely for inventory pickup
  • Collaborate with team members and provide leadership to General Service Technicians
Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • At least 2 years of automotive technician experience
  • Valid Driver License
  • Own basic automotive tools or participate in the tool purchase program
  • Ability to work overhead, stand long periods, and lift 50 lbs
  • Guest and team-focused mindset
  • Maintain an Automotive Technician State Inspector’s license, if applicable

Preferred Qualifications

  • ASE certification in at least one of A1-A8
  • Automotive technical school certificate or degree
