Napleton's Lexus of Wayzata is seeking an Automotive Technician to perform vehicle repair and maintenance in accordance with dealer and factory standards. This role helps build customer loyalty by delivering reliable service and clear explanations.

Ideal candidates have automotive service technician experience, ASE certification is desirable, strong communication, a valid driver's license, and willingness to undergo background check and drug screening.

Qualifications

• Experience as an Automotive Service Technician.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screen.
• Valid Driver’s License and 18+ years of age.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle repair and/or maintenance per repair order and factory standards.
• Communicate with Parts Department and Service Advisors to manage production and customer communication.
• Diagnose malfunctions and perform repairs.
• Explain diagnoses and repairs to customers and non-mechanical staff.
• Maintain an organized work area and participate in training as required.

Located at Napleton's Lexus of Wayzata, theAutomotive Master Technicianwill be responsible for vehicle repair and maintenance as assigned in accordance with dealer and factory standards. Job Responsibilities:

• Performing vehicle repair and/or maintenance work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards to drive Customer loyalty.
• Communicating with Parts Department and Service Advisors regularly to effectively manage production and Customer communication.
• Diagnosing the cause of any malfunction and perform repair.
• Adequately explains technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals which may include employees and customers
• Keeping abreast of factory technical bulletins and participating in factory-sponsored training classes as appropriate
• Keeps store management aware of mechanical repair problems as they occur
• Maintains an organized work area
• Other duties assigned by manager

Job Requirements:

• Automotive Service Technician experience
• ASE certification desirable
• Excellent customer service
• Strong communication skills
• Valid Driver’s License
• 18+ years of age or older to comply with the company driving policy
• Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screen in accordance with local/law regulations.
