Job summary

The Ed Napleton Automotive Group is seeking an Automotive Service Technician at Napleton's Lexus of Maplewood to perform vehicle repair and maintenance in accordance with dealer and factory standards. You will build trust with customers by diagnosing vehicles accurately and communicating clearly.

This role requires automotive technician experience; ASE certification is desirable. We offer paid training, tool allowances, flexible scheduling, and a path for growth within a family-owned company.

• 18+ years of age per policy.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle repair and maintenance per repair order.
• Communicate with Parts Department and Service Advisors to manage production.
• Diagnose malfunctions and perform repairs.
• Explain diagnoses and repairs to customers and colleagues.
• Stay current with factory bulletins and participate in training.
• Keep the work area organized.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Located at Napleton's Lexus of Maplewood, theAutomotive Service Technicianwill be responsible for vehicle repair and maintenance as assigned in accordance with dealer and factory standards. Job Responsibilities:

• Performing vehicle repair and/or maintenance work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards to drive Customer loyalty.
• Communicating with Parts Department and Service Advisors regularly to effectively manage production and Customer communication.
• Diagnosing the cause of any malfunction and perform repair.
• Adequately explains technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals which may include employees and customers
• Keeping abreast of factory technical bulletins and participating in factory-sponsored training classes as appropriate
• Keeps store management aware of mechanical repair problems as they occur
• Maintains an organized work area
• Other duties as assigned by management

Job Requirements:

• Automotive Technician experience
• ASE certification desirable
• Excellent customer service
• Strong communication skills
• Valid Driver’s License
• Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screen in accordance with local law/regulations
• 18+ years of age or older to comply with the company driving policy
