Kia Retailers are offering skilled and experienced military Veterans the opportunity to begin an inspiring career as a Kia Certified Service Technician. To support this initiative, Kia America, Inc. has established the Kia Veterans Technician Apprenticeship Program (VTAP).

Job Description

1. Diagnose, maintain, and repair Kia vehicles, including engine, transmission, steering, suspension, brakes, HVAC, and electrical components.
2. Complete repair orders and warranty request orders following Kia and Retailer policies and procedures.
3. Test drive vehicles, analyze, diagnose, and repair components and systems using Kia diagnostic strategies, special equipment, and tools.
4. Perform services, diagnostics, and repairs efficiently, communicating with the shop foreman and service advisor to ensure an optimal customer experience.

All potential employment opportunities advertised here are with independently owned and operated Kia Retailers. Applicants are applying for full-time employment with a participating Kia Retailer, not with KUS or ERS. Employment opportunities are subject to applicable federal and state laws.

Requirements

• Honorable Discharge
• Valid Driver's License from any state with a clean driving record
• Experience in a technical or mechanical field
• Willingness to complete drug screening and background checks
