Job summary

Auto Plus in Buford, GA seeks a Technician to professionally inspect, diagnose and repair tire and automotive services, while delivering an excellent customer experience. You will explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to co-workers and customers, and stay updated with rapidly changing automotive technology while mentoring others.

A successful Technician will train and mentor co-workers and maintain a clean, safe shop, adhering to company policies and safety rules.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of automotive diagnosis and repair experience.
• 2+ ASE certs preferred (A4, A5).
• 609 certification preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Willing to work days, nights, weekends.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair brake, hydraulic, exhaust, electrical, cooling, suspension and alignment per specifications.
• Perform duties of Mechanic and General Service Technician.
• Explain diagnoses and needed repairs to customers and staff.
• Continuously learn new automotive techniques through formal training.
• Maintain organized, safe shop and comply with company policies.
