Job summary

ADESA, a Carvana owned company, is seeking a Mechanical Technician II for our Riverside, CA shop. You will diagnose, repair and maintain vehicles to factory specs under limited supervision, while following all safety rules and company policies.

You’ll support the Mechanical Services Manager and work with a team to ensure quality, prompt service and customer satisfaction. Qualified candidates will have a High School diploma or GED, 2–3 years of experience, a valid driver's license, and solid

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED preferred.
Two to three years of experience in the field or related area.
Must be able to operate a motor vehicle and possess a valid driver's license.
Must be able to drive vehicles with either standard or automatic transmissions.
Effective interpersonal communication skills.
Must have the ability to interact positively with others.
Computer literacy preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide prompt, courteous service to customers and maintain a professional appearance.
Perform diagnostic repairs and routine maintenance per shop standards.
Look up parts, use stock parts when possible and notify admins of needed items.
Test and recheck repairs and road test comebacks as directed.
Maintain safe, clean work area and follow safety procedures.
