Job summary

ADESA, a Carvana-owned company, is seeking a Mechanic Tech to support a high-volume shop. You will perform diagnostic repairs and maintenance on customer vehicles, diagnosing issues across braking, HVAC, electrical systems, and driveline components. Leadership and mentoring responsibilities are noted for senior technicians.

The role requires 3+ years in automotive repair, a valid driver’s license, and own tools. A fast-paced team environment is expected, with safety and quality as top priorities.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in automotive repair.
• Two of three Certifications A-4, A-5 or A-7 or a related area.
• Own tools and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be 18 years of age and hold a valid driver’s license.
• Able to safely drive a variety of make/model/sizes of vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic repairs or maintenance on customer vehicles.
• Repair brakes, A/C, cooling, electrical systems, and driveline components.
• Diagnose, repair, and service vehicle systems to standards.
• Assist in general shop duties and maintain a neat work environment.
