Job summary

Cox Automotive is seeking a mid-level Auto Maintenance Technician II at our Manheim location. You will perform maintenance and repairs across a wide range of vehicle systems, diagnose drivability issues, and document inspections.

This day-shift role offers competitive pay, a $5,000 sign-on bonus (including a $1,500 tool bonus), and strong benefits. Candidates must have HS diploma or GED and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 3 years of related work experience; or any degree or certification above a high school diploma/GED with one year of related work experience; or 5 years of related work experience without a degree.
• A valid driver’s license with a safe driving record
• The ability to drive standard, automatic and electric vehicles

Responsibilities

• Perform highly skilled maintenance and repairs across a wide range of vehicle systems.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical and drivability issues, including brakes, tires, suspension and related components.
• Conduct advanced diagnostics and repairs across key systems, including starting and charging, AC, OBDII and electrical systems.
• Complete detailed mechanical inspections, including required measurements, and document any deficiencies across interior, exterior, engine and driveline components.
• Maintain compliance with safety and environmental standards, including proper handling of recyclables, fluids, tires and waste.
• Assist with upfitting new vehicles with required equipment.
• Source and manage parts through approved vendors.
• Support additional service needs, including OEM recall work as required.
