Job summary

Monro, Inc. is seeking a Technician at our Hammonton, NJ location. This role can be full-time or part-time and pays hourly with a flat-rate, performance-based system tied to completed tasks.

The technician conducts basic diagnostics and performs routine maintenance per manufacturer specs, aiming to deliver exceptional 5-star service to guests. Responsibilities include courtesy inspections, inventory assistance, and maintaining safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Automotive training or basic car maintenance/repair experience.
• ASE certification and State Inspection license preferred.
• Must have valid driver’s license and clean MVR.
• Own basic tools or participate in Monro’s tool purchase program.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic vehicle diagnostics to identify required repairs.
• Complete Monro’s Courtesy Inspection on every guest vehicle and document needed services.
• Assist in inventory management and stocking of tires/parts.
• Maintain store cleanliness and guest-ready condition per Monro standards.
• Adhere to safety standards including wheel torque, oil safety, and compliance procedures.
• Test drive vehicles per Monro’s Road Test policy and local laws.
