Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) in Weslaco, TX is seeking an Automotive Technician to join our service team. You’ll learn diagnostics, repair, and maintenance under experienced techs, performing oil changes, inspections, tire service, and road tests in a fast-paced environment.

We offer flat-rate pay of $15.75-$23.67/hour, paid ASE tests, benefits starting day one, and opportunities to earn certifications and advance with 2+ years of experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be able to learn basic mechanical tasks.
• Must have a valid driver's license and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Basic understanding of general automotive maintenance & tire repair services including: Oil changes, Basic inspections, Repairing tires.

Responsibilities

• Change oil and perform scheduled maintenance services.
• Inspect steering, suspension, and brake systems.
• Install batteries and check electrical systems.
• Perform tire maintenance and rotation.
• Install parts as needed.
• Road test vehicles for proper operation.
• Pursue ASE certifications (A1–A8) within the first two years, company pays tests/fees.
