Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) is hiring an Automotive Technician in Corpus Christi, TX. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles under supervision, performing oil changes, inspections, and tire services.

This is a fast-paced, hands-on role with a flat-rate pay structure and opportunities to earn ASE certifications funded by the company. Starting pay is $16.63–$24.99 per hour, with benefits including health coverage and 401(k).

Qualifications

• Proven ability to learn basic mechanical tasks.
• Basic understanding of general automotive maintenance & tire repair services including oil changes, basic inspections, repairing tires.
• Must have a valid automobile driver's license and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Reading, writing, and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Change oil and perform scheduled maintenance services.
• Inspect steering, suspension, and brake systems.
• Install batteries and check electrical systems.
• Perform tire maintenance.
• Install parts.
• Road test vehicles.
• Pursue ASE certifications within two years (fees paid by company).
