Job summary

Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company in the United States seeks a Mid-Level Automotive Technician to gain hands‑on experience in one of Goodyear’s Auto Service centers by diagnosing technical issues while delivering outstanding service. Minimum 1 year of automotive experience, a valid driver's license, and US work authorization are required; ASE certification is preferred.

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of automotive experience including brake repairs, fluid flushes and preventative maintenance.
Must have a valid driver's license and be at least 18 years of age.
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future.
ASE Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform line technician services, routine inspections/maintenance and system diagnostics.
Explain repairs and provide guidance to customers, ensuring clear communication.
Document all work performed on the repair order and follow safety policies.
Promote teamwork to deliver timely and accurate guest care during operating hours.
Handle manual tasks including lifting and tire/wheel work as required.
