Job summary

Goodyear is seeking a Mid-Level Automotive Technician to join one of our Auto Service centers. You will gain hands-on experience diagnosing issues and performing line services, brake repairs, alignments, and routine maintenance while delivering outstanding service.

Work in a fast-paced environment with growth opportunities and training. A valid driver's license, 18+ years old, and 1 year of automotive experience are required; ASE certification and a high school diploma are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year automotive experience including brake repairs, fluid flushes, and preventative maintenance.
• Must have a valid driver's license and be at least 18 years old.
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Prefer High School Diploma or GED.
• ASE Certification preferred.
• Experience diagnosing vehicles and performing road tests.
• Experience electrical, air conditioning, and fuel ignition preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate excellent guest service, with clear communication about guest vehicles.
• Provide guidance and mentoring to junior automotive technicians.
• Document all work performed on the repair order.
• Report any safety issues immediately to management.
• Promote teamwork to deliver timely and accurate guest care during all operating hours.
• Maintain strict adherence to Company policy on vehicle care and operation.
• Perform a variety of manual tasks for extended periods, including lifting, tires and wheels.
