Job summary

North Point Volvo in Alpharetta, GA is seeking an experienced Service Technician. The role involves performing vehicle repair and maintenance to dealer and factory standards, and supervising an apprentice as needed.

We offer a tenure bonus program with rewards up to $3.50 per flat rate hour, plus a comprehensive benefits package. The position requires diagnostic/heavy line experience, a valid driver's license, and reliable work eligibility in the USA.

Qualifications

• ASE or manufacturing training.
• High school diploma or the equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
• All applicants must be authorized to work in the USA.
• Ability to pass pre-employment testing including background checks, MVR, and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Receive repair orders from dispatcher and take to stall area.
• Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy.
• Diagnose cause of malfunctions and perform repairs.
• Communicate with parts department to obtain needed parts.
• Road-test vehicles as required or refer to the test technician.
• Supervise work of apprentice technicians as assigned.
• Attend factory-sponsored training classes.
• Keep shop area neat and ensure tools are accounted for.
