Job summary

Gills Point S Tire & Auto is seeking a Level 1 Mechanic to diagnose and repair brake, steering, suspension, charging, and electrical systems. You will perform tune-ups and preventative maintenance, maintain documentation, and collaborate with Service Advisors to ensure quality workmanship.

The role emphasizes staying current with automotive technology, ongoing training, and opportunities for advancement within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of professional automotive repair experience.
• ASE certifications are preferred, or willingness to earn with company support.
• Ability to lift, bend, stand, and work in a fast-paced shop environment.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair brake systems.
• Inspect and repair steering and suspension components.
• Diagnose charging and electrical system concerns.
• Perform tune-ups and preventative maintenance.
• Maintain repair documentation and communicate with customers.
