Job summary

Gills Point S Tire is seeking a Level 1 Mechanic to diagnose and repair brakes, steering, and electrical systems while maintaining quality workmanship in a fast-paced shop. The role offers ongoing training and opportunities for advancement.

You will perform diagnostics, routine maintenance, and repairs, documenting work and communicating with customers and service advisors. Ideal candidates have 2–4 years of experience and a willingness to grow with the team.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• 2–4 years of professional automotive repair experience.
• Experience diagnosing and repairing brake systems, steering & suspension, charging systems, and basic engine performance concerns.
• ASE Certifications A4 (Steering & Suspension) and A5 (Brakes) preferred, or willingness to earn with company support.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair a variety of mechanical systems including brakes, steering & suspension, and electrical components.
• Perform tune-ups and preventative maintenance to improve vehicle reliability.
• Maintain repair documentation and use diagnostic equipment and shop tools.
• Communicate professionally with customers and coordinate with Service Advisors.
