Job summary

Gills Point S Tire is seeking an Experienced Advanced Auto Technician to diagnose and repair a broad range of vehicles, while delivering top-tier customer service. The role emphasizes continual learning, safety, and teamwork in a fast-paced shop environment.

ASE certifications are encouraged and supported by the company to help you advance your credentials. You will work on engines, suspensions, brakes, electrical systems, and HVAC, ensuring quality workmanship and customer satisfaction while

Qualifications

Requires vocational or technical automotive training.
ASE certifications preferred but not required; company supports certification.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair engine concerns.
Replace worn components (spark plugs, belts, hoses, gaskets).
Perform tune-ups and preventive maintenance services.
Inspect and repair cooling system components (radiators, thermostats, water pumps).
Diagnose coolant leaks and overheating issues.
Inspect and repair steering and suspension systems; perform wheel alignments.
Repair brake systems and ABS/ESC; inspect brakes.
Diagnose electrical concerns; troubleshoot wiring and lighting; use scanners and multimeters.
Repair HVAC components and refrigerants per regulations.
Complete vehicle inspections and provide repair recommendations; maintain a clean, safe shop.
Communicate with customers and team; stay current with tech advances.
