Job summary

The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company is seeking an entry to mid-level Automotive Technician to gain hands-on experience in one of our Auto Service centers. You will diagnose mechanical issues and deliver outstanding service as part of a fast-paced environment.

Minimum 1 year automotive experience is required; ASE certification and experience with brakes, maintenance and road tests are preferred. Training and advancement opportunities are available with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of automotive experience including brake repairs, fluid flushes, and preventative maintenance.
• ASE Certification is preferred.
• Experience diagnosing vehicles and performing road tests is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Perform line technician services, routine inspections and maintenance.
• Diagnose vehicle issues and perform repairs with quality and safety in mind.
• Provide clear communication and guest service to customers.
• Document work performed and maintain accurate repair orders.
• Collaborate with team to meet service times and safety standards.
