Job summary

The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company is seeking a Mid-Level Automotive Technician at one of our Auto Service centers. You will diagnose issues using mechanical aptitude and deliver outstanding service to guests.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of automotive experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work legally in the U.S. ASE certification is preferred. Training and fast track advancement are available for motivated team players.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of automotive experience including brake repairs, fluid flushes, and preventative maintenance.
• Must have a valid driver's license and be at least 18 years of age.
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Perform line technician services, routine inspections/maintenance, system diagnostics, and brake repairs.
• Demonstrate guest service with clear communication and feedback about guest vehicles.
• Document all work performed on the repair order.
• Report any safety issues immediately to management.
• Promote teamwork to deliver timely and accurate guest care during operating hours.
• Maintain adherence to Company policy on vehicle care and operation.
• Perform tasks for extended periods including lifting tires and wheels, standing, bending, and squatting.
