Job summary

DriveTime Family of Brands is seeking an automotive technician to inspect, diagnose, and perform repairs and maintenance on multi‑brand vehicles. Emissions testing where applicable, documentation in DriveTime systems, and safe, organized work practices are essential.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, with a certificate/Associate degree in automotive technology or 3+ years of experience. A valid driver’s license and clean driving record are also required.

Qualifications

• Must be proficient in automotive repairs.
• Must be able to troubleshoot basic automotive concerns.
• Must be able to communicate causes and recommended corrections for vehicle issues.
• Must be able to meet metric performance targets.
• Must be able to learn and operate basic computer systems.

• Must maintain a safe and compliant workspace.
• Must be able to learn and comply with DriveTime standards.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and perform advanced vehicle repairs and maintenance; emissions testing where applicable.
• Perform inspections, maintenance and repairs on multiple makes/models in DriveTime inventory.
• Explain automotive repairs to management to minimize re-work and delays.
• Document all work performed in DriveTime systems.
• Keep work area clean and safe to meet safety standards.
