Job summary

The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company is seeking an Automotive Technician General Maintenance to gain hands-on experience at Goodyear Auto Service centers. You will diagnose issues with a mechanical aptitude while delivering outstanding service, in a fast-paced environment.

Minimum 1 year of automotive experience with brakes, fluid flushes, and preventative maintenance is required; valid driver’s license and ability to work in the U.S. without sponsorship are expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of automotive experience including brake repairs, fluid flushes, and preventative maintenance.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and deliver quality service.
• Demonstrates commitment to learning new automotive technologies.

Responsibilities

• Perform line technician services, routine inspections/maintenance, system diagnostics and troubleshooting.
• Conduct brake repairs, fluid exchanges/flushes, wheel alignments, and tire installation.
• Provide excellent guest service with clear communication about guest vehicles.
• Document all work on repair orders and follow safety policies.
