Job summary
The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company is seeking a Mid-Level Automotive Technician to gain hands-on experience in one of our Auto Service centers by utilizing a mechanical aptitude to diagnose technical issues while delivering outstanding service.
You will perform line technician services, routine inspections and maintenance, system diagnostics, brake repairs, tire installation, and customer care, while learning and growing with Goodyear’s training programs and fast-track advancement opportunities.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of automotive experience including brake repairs, fluid flushes, and preventative maintenance.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and be at least 18 years of age.
- Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future.
Responsibilities
- Perform line technician services and routine inspections/maintenance.
- Conduct system diagnostics and problem solving, brake repairs, tire installation.
- Document all work on repair orders and maintain guest communication.
- Promote teamwork to deliver timely and accurate guest care during operating hours.
- Adhere to company safety policies and procedures.
