Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) is hiring an Automotive Technician in Youngstown, OH. You will learn to diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles under experienced technicians, with focus on safety and quality workmanship.

Responsibilities include inspections, tire services, battery installation, and customer communication. The role offers flat-rate pay with earnings potential based on productivity and experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include basic mechanical tasks and a valid driver's license.
• Reading, writing and math skills are required for this role.
• Preferred: 2 years of automotive repair experience, vocational-technical training, and ASE certifications.

Responsibilities

• Change oil and perform other scheduled maintenance services.
• Inspect steering, suspension, and brake systems.
• Install batteries and check electrical systems.
• Maintain tires and perform tire services.
• Install parts and road-test vehicles.
• Work toward ASE certifications within two years.
