Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) is seeking an Automotive Technician to diagnose, repair and maintain vehicles under guidance from seasoned technicians. You will participate in inspections, assist in repairs, and communicate with customers to explain procedures and ensure quality workmanship in a fast-paced environment.

The role offers a flat-rate pay model based on task productivity, with company support for ASE certifications and training.

Qualifications

• Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks.
• Valid automobile driver's license at all times.
• Understanding of general automotive maintenance and tire repair.
• Reading, writing, and math skills.
• 2 years of automotive repair experience or related certification.
• ASE certification or equivalent training.

Responsibilities

• Change oil and perform scheduled maintenance.
• Inspect steering, suspension, and braking systems.
• Install batteries and check electrical systems.
• Perform tire maintenance and rotate tires.
• Install parts and road test vehicles.
• Pursue ASE certifications (A1–A8) within two years; company pays tests and fees.
