Job summary

VIP Auto Accessories in St. Louis is seeking an Automotive Technician to join our fleet maintenance team. You’ll perform preventive maintenance and repairs on a variety of fleet vehicles, from light-duty to service trucks, and diagnose issues with modern tools.

You’ll maintain records and coordinate with scheduling to minimize downtime while delivering tangible value to our business customers. The role requires 3+ years of hands-on automotive or diesel repair experience, knowledge of brakes,

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on automotive and/or diesel repair experience (fleet maintenance experience a plus).
• ASE/Manufacturer Certifications preferred.
• Strong diagnostic skills and proficiency with modern diagnostic equipment.
• Knowledge of brake systems, suspension, electrical systems, and engine repair.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record; CDL a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on fleet vehicles including light- and medium-duty trucks and vans.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues using diagnostic tools.
• Complete inspections and ensure vehicles meet safety and compliance standards.
• Maintain accurate service records and communicate timelines to customers.
• Collaborate with scheduling teams to prioritize urgent repairs and minimize downtime.
• Recommend proactive maintenance strategies to help customers avoid future issues.

As an Automotive Technician on our fleet maintenance team, you’ll be more than a mechanic — you’ll be a trusted partner to the businesses that keep our city running. From delivery vans to service trucks, you’ll keep the wheels turning for industries that depend on us every day.

What You’ll Do

What You’ll Bring
