Job summary

VIP Auto Accessories in St. Louis, MO, seeks an Automotive Technician for fleet maintenance. You’ll perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs on light- and medium-duty vehicles, working with modern diagnostic tools and a team dedicated to minimizing downtime.

You bring 3+ years of hands-on automotive or diesel repair, a clean driving record, and a customer-first mindset. ASE certifications are preferred; CDL is a plus. No weekends and competitive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

Strong automotive background.
Strong teamwork skills.
Must have clean & valid driver's license.
Must be willing to submit to pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on a variety of fleet vehicles, including light- and medium-duty trucks, vans, and specialty vehicles.
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues using advanced diagnostic tools.
Complete inspections and ensure all vehicles meet safety and compliance standards.
Maintain accurate service records and communicate clearly with customers about needed repairs and timelines.
Collaborate with our scheduling teams to prioritize urgent repairs and minimize downtime.
Recommend proactive maintenance strategies to help customers avoid future issues.
