Job summary

Express Oil Change & Tire Engineers in Foley, AL is seeking an Automotive Technician to perform basic and advanced maintenance, diagnose issues, and ensure each vehicle runs safely and customers are cared for.

Responsibilities include applying repair knowledge, providing high quality service, identifying defective parts, maintaining a clean work area, and adhering to safety standards while supporting team goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ automotive service, automotive mechanic, and/or engine diagnostic experience in a professional capacity
• ASE Certification preferred, but not required
• Must have Technician Tools
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to operate and drive vehicles
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background screen
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Top-notch customer service skills with a desire to build long term trust and relationships with our customers
• Willingness to work Saturdays and/or Sundays

Responsibilities

• Apply in-depth automotive repair knowledge to diagnose and repair vehicles
• Provide service of the highest quality to customers
• Perform skilled mechanical work while analyzing and diagnosing problems
• Inspect, replace and/or repair defective parts and perform preventive maintenance
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area
