Job summary

MCNICOL MOTORS LLC is seeking an Automotive Technician to diagnose and repair vehicles in our repair shop. You will be comfortable using the shop’s computer software and have extensive knowledge of vehicle systems. If you possess a persistent, problem-solving attitude, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities include diagnosing codes, maintaining service records, performing routine maintenance, and communicating repair details to customers while aiming for top-notch customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree or automotive service technician training preferred.
• ASE or SAE certification preferred.
• Strong customer service and communications skills required.

Responsibilities

• Use diagnostic tools to evaluate vehicle malfunction codes.
• Assist with establishing service center procedures for tracking repair status and documentation.
• Carry out routine maintenance tasks such as tire rotations, oil changes, and brake pad replacements.
• Conduct in-depth vehicle inspections of engine, transmission, and brakes.
• Ensure high customer satisfaction and repeat business.
• Convey repair information to customers clearly and concisely.
